Sankari Krishnan humbly
offers all the credit she receives at the feet of her teachers.
Sankari is extremely fortunate and privileged to learn from
the great maestro of all times, Padmabhushan
Lalgudi Shri G. Jayaraman for over a decade. This admirable
Guru needs no introduction, as he is an eminent musician of
international repute. His invaluable guidance has enabled Sankari
to move towards the pinnacle of glory as a performing musician
for which she is ever grateful.
Shri. K.S. Subramanian of Trichy
is an excellent teacher who had been a catalyst to Sankari's
flair for music in her formative years. His encouragement had
fired a passion in Sankari to pursue music as a career.
Dr. Karaikudi S. Subramanian, Director of Brhaddhvani,
The Research and Training Centre for the Musics of the World,
was formerly a Professor in Music at the University of Madras.
He is a distinguished Veena maestro as well as an eminent teacher.
He has evolved a holistic Teaching Methodology, COMET, encompassing
scientific facets of the art of teaching. Sankari has been fortunate
to learn this unique methodology from this outstanding teacher.
